Mama's Stew is a Solo Jazz routine that was often practiced by members of the group "Whitey's Lindy Hoppers" as a warm-up. It is named after Louise "Mama Lou" Parks, whose dance troupe "Mama Lu & The Parkets" regularly performed the routine. The routine is simple, but quite energetic. No dance experience is required for the workshop; it is also intended for beginners!
